INSPIRE REFRESH NURTURE
Yorkshire Ballet Seminars offers dance students ages 9 to 19 the opportunity to attend world class residential courses during the summer and Easter holidays alongside other events throughout the year taught by internationally renowned dancers and highly acclaimed teachers.
Students on our courses receive exceptional Masterclasses, experiencing the highest level of industry-led dance training to inspire, excite and fuel their passion for dance.
Isabelle Brouwers
Artistic Director
Isabelle Brouwers is an international dancer, educator and cultural leader, and the Artistic Director of Yorkshire Ballet Seminars. After training at The Royal Ballet School and English National Ballet School, and winning the Silver Medal at the Genee International Ballet Competition, she joined English National Ballet, where she performed for a decade at venues including the Paris Opera, Bolshoi Theatre, Sadler’s Wells and Royal Albert Hall. Alongside her performing career, Isabelle has led international education projects, written for Dance Europe and Tanz magazines, completed the Royal Academy of Dance Professional Dancers’ Teaching Diploma with Distinction, and undertaken leadership training through Cranfield, LSE and Aspen UK.
Looking ahead, I am committed to honouring the founding vision of YBS, building on the outstanding work of previous Artistic Directors and strengthening the pastoral care and exceptional classical training that lie at the heart of YBS. I intend to sustain the world-class dance training YBS delivers while propelling the organisation further into the future".
